The sharing service lets you share files in a manner similar to well-known peer-to-peer programs like eMule, uTorrent, Azureus, etc... But unlike most of those, it also lets you run a search directly from the program, so that you do not depend on an external tracker website. And that search always covers the entire network.

For each shared file a few properties can be set to make sharing and searching easier. Values which you edit are highlighted in yellow.

The control panel provide status information (running services, latest events...), and contains all configuration options (application behavoir, enabled services, etc...). Help is available as tooltips.

In fact, the menu, status pane and event log area can all be hidden as well, turning the control panel into a simple toolbar
